In 2021, Lee was one of 15 mentees out of 1,600 applicants to be accepted into the inaugural cohort of Penguin Random House’s Audio Narrator Mentorship Program. He has since recorded books for PRH, Macmillan, Hachette, Harper, Diney, Audible, Tantor, Podium, Scrib’d, Pink Flamingo, and Insatiable. He won an AudioFile Earphones Award for his narration in Chain Gang All Stars.

Lee is a lover of literary fiction with a rich and textured baritone voice that has voiced everything from Queer YA Fantasy to Constitutional Law Nonfiction. Lee records contemporary romance under the pseudonym Javi Wilder.
Lee was born and raised in Georgia and has spent time in the Mid-West and New England. He can do a range of Southern accents from rural to coastal, British accents from RP to contemporary London, French, German, Russian, and Italian. He is fluent in Spanish (but not a native speaker) and has conversational French.
Lee records from his home studio in Atlanta, GA- a double walled Whisper Room with a Rode NT1 microphone and a PreSonus Audiobox iOne Interface. His studio has been approved by every publisher he’s worked with.
